My first homemade uniform. Only took six attempts. The off white canvas fatigue uniforms show up quite a bit in the photographic record. These can be seen with or without the Nelson collar which should be detachable on all naval uniforms. Also you can find these being worn just about year round except in the most extreme winter conditions.

Been working on this guy for a awhile. Could never seem to find the right uniform. Anyway it has finally come together. This one is going to be part of a larger group of Leningrad defenders the base is temporary for these photos.

Anyone here have copy of " the red book" covering WWII uniform dress regs? I need a list of naval arm of service colors. In particular what is the color for naval infantry? Failing a WWII list any listing will do for now. Thanx.

Picked this beauty up !! dated 2001 , probably traded in the former Yugoslavia between U.S. soldier and A Russian pilot , Its in great shape , has tons of pockets and built in mag pouches , all the pockets have the lanyards for tying in the gear and the hidden pistol pocket .

More experiments with pastels for head painting and some minor tweaks to other parts to make aviator gear. Not the most accurate collection of parts, and I still need to come up with a parachute. The cap badge is the bigest accomplishment. I need to get my eyes checked as I can't see the detail on the actual part. I was sorta doing it by braille.

Received a case of these yesterday and they a quite nice in person. Spent 2 hours breaking these down to parts and have developed a new found level of respect for the parts dealers.

The boots are excellent and while too shiny for a mud slogging underdog of an Ivan they look very much like good all leather prewar boots. A bit of weathering these will be as good, but different than the Human Wave boots. Actually the pattern and details are more accurate then Human Waves's....

Well, first off, I gotta say I am embarassed that I did not even know this forum existed?? Where the hell have I been??? I am a huge WWII red army enthusiast, but unfortuanatly do not know much about the red army? This forum is definatly a great place to be!! Thank you CenterMass!
